• The embassy can only offer the appointments available online.

• A visa application can be submitted not more than three months before the planned entry.

• Visa applications must be submitted by the applicant in person (NB! appointment booking required).

• Please make sure to book the appointment of the correct category. If you book an appointment of the incorrect category, your application will not be accepted.

• Only complete applications will be accepted. All documents must be submitted in original with 1 set of copies in the order specified in the relevant information sheet. Please pay attention in your own interest to the completeness of the documents.

• The processing time varies depending on the visa purpose. Often the approval of German authorities is required before a visa can be issued.

• While processing your visa application it is necessary to carefully balance your interest in the entry to the Federal Republic of Germany with Germany’s security interests.

• Please understand that questions regarding the processing status during the processing time are generally not answered.
